1. We are a co-operative at MOMS; we support each other by taking turns caring for each other’s children. When it is your turn to serve please check-in by 9:00 am with our Kidzone leaders at the front table. If it is your turn to serve and you are not able to make it, please contact Nickie Fox at 562-761-8094. This will help us make adequate adjustments to cover your Kidzone assignment. You are a vital part of the Kidzone team and we appreciate your faithfulness!
2. A signed and completed medical release form must be on file.
3. You may not leave your child in Kidzone unless you are attending MOMS or working in Kidzone. We cannot accept children you are babysitting.
4. There is a weekly charge for Kidzone. The cost is $3 per child with a $6 maximum per family. There is no cost for Kidzone your first visit or when it is your day to serve.
5. We cannot accept sick children. If your child has had a fever or vomited within 24 hours, please give him/her an extra day at home to recover. Visible signs of illness are: fever, colored mucous, runny nose, skin rash, and/or cough. If your child comes down with a contagious disease such as chicken pox, please call us so we may contact others who may have been exposed.
6. Before you leave home, please prepare your child for the morning by having breakfast and talking about your morning. Please mark all bottles, pacifiers, bags, and personal belongings. A snack is served to all children who can walk, usually graham crackers and water with Cheerios in the Nursery. Please notify your teacher if your child has any food allergies.
7. If your child is injured or if they are really sad, we will come get you. If you have a specific request, for example, “I only want my child to cry for 10 minutes before you come get me,” or “it’s ok if he/she cries,” please let your Kidzone teacher know your request and we will work with you. Just let us know what you are comfortable with.
